anyone no any other way to reset new model ecus as only green plugs under dash and dash light only goes out when reset with £5000 worth off bosch equipment

i got an OBD2 from www.obd2.com- it hooks up to the serial port of a pc or laptop and does all sorts of complicated things- the best being the ability to reset the CEL and read the codes
