Default please help with uk turbo 2000

hi im new to subaru,s ive just got a uk turbo 2000 wagon, with print out for 248.4bhp its got all the basic mods de-cat full exhaust, fmic, bov etc! but it dont have the imfamous scooby rumble why is this?? it also has a forge dump valve with isnt very loud im after a loud 1 to replace it with any advice on this ive been told baileys are good?? thanks for any help

baileys are crap. avoid. standard recirc is the best

Have the headers been changed to equal length ones ? that'll loose the burble

They are crap, as already stated, the standard one is better.

As above if its lost the burble headers must have been changed to equal length ones. Not sure about vta dump valves been any better than standard set up but baileys will be as good as any other aftermarket ones

baileys are poo on scoobs make them run lumpy go for hks etc

+1 i've got an HKS SQV on my 00 turbo, runs mint, sounds mint and its loud when you want it to be - and with the right timing you can even scare people at the side of the road with it!!!

dnt know if the headers have been changed to equal length ones?? im no good with cars so wudnt have a clue!! would equal length headers be an aftermarket or standard part?? how/what would i need to get the burble bck??? would i loose any power doin this??

Default unequal headers

equal headers would be an aftermarket part. the reason standard or aftermarket un equal headers give the classic scooby burble is down to the flat four boxer engine. as the sound takes longer to get from the ns cylinders accross to the os and into the turbo up pipe. the only way you can restore burble is to fit un equal headers, got ss japspeeds on my bugeye. but standard cast iron are normally easier to fit.
