Hi all,
I have a 1998 uk version impreza and the cam belt is due. Ive heard its a simple job to do.
I have a good set of tools with ok knowledge and understanding about the job, but i was wondering if anyone had a step by step guide on changing the belt and other things i should check before repacing the belt?
If someone could help me out with this i would be very gratefull.

Paul, have a look in the Technical ARchives section mate, you will find a thread with PDF manuals. Download a manual for the 2001 spec impreza and that will give you quite a good idea as the 1998 manual is not the best in all honesty.

pretty easy might help to have another pair of hands as last time i done mine the passenger side cams kept spinning so needed holding but that was the only prob i had
