What management and to map welsh 2.5 n/a road rally car
Hi, I'm building a 2.5 non turbo impreza for road rallies and i'm looking for some help and advice.
What engine management should i go for? Can i plug in an apexi pfc or gems and dissable the turbo features? I'm planning on using the turbo intake and coilpacks so should just plug straight in? Or am i better off going for Motec or DTA or similar?
Also where would be a good place to get it mapped? I'm based in West Wales so choices are limited!
Paul.

A Syvecs PnP would be ideal and modern, but any aftermarket ECU that allows you to use throttle position as the load input would do just as well. Your options for something that plugs right and can be used for an N/A engine are a little more limited, but if you don't mind wiring it in then you could use a wider range of ECUs. As for mapping, it can pay to travel to have the right job done.

A SimTek would be a fraction of the cost of the Syvecs, and I believe that Steve Simpson has already mapped an NA 2.5 rally car.
