i got a quote from barry who used to work at well lane and it was £140 for a classic one changing. havnt got round to it doing yet but he fitted my boost gauge and t.timer a few months back.

Garages shouldn't charge you more than 3 hours in labour - I did mine in my drive in 3 hours but that was all tensioners, water pump, thermostat etc.

Very easy job on Subaru engines
