Default Help on getting engine running plz!!!!!!!

Right i have fitted a new engine in my car and this is my issue, can will start up and run for about 5/6 secounds but then shuts off completely, its gettign fuel, turns over and is sparking, so am wondering if there could be an issue with the immobiliser as it seems that the car burns the fuel when the pump primes and once this has gone its like the fuel is stopped and then the car simply cuts out???? this is doing my head in now as i hve been playing with the car since september of ast year and this is the final stage what i need to pass to get it running can someone plz help me to get my car running
