yeah really you need some one who understands that sort of thing as we can all say what it is but unless you know how to fix it your better off just going to a subaru specalist and let them do it
If the master or slave has air in, or is leaking slightly, then they won't be able to deliver the full force of the hydraulic pressure available. So clutch engagement may be "slow" to occur, hence it feeling "slower" than normal.
Although I'm not sure about what I've just spouted is correct LOL. It's prob. bollox actually.

You should have approx 10mm of freeplay at the top of the throw of the clutch pedal, before pressure on the clutch is taken up.
If you have too little freeplay, you risk slipping the clutch, and if you have too much the the pedal tends to get stuck when you take your foot off it.
If the freeplay is incorrect, then crack off the 12mm locknut and adjust the rod length in the pedal box.
If the pedal freeplay is correct and it continues to stick, then suspect master or slave cylinder issue.
Doubtful - It'll either be connected, or not.

try bleeding it first. very easy. the nipple is under the intercooler. its just like bleeding a caliper. tighten nipple with pedal on the floor.
note: youll have to pull the pedal up the first time after a bleed. this is normal.
