Default problems

hey to all

i bought my 2nd type r impreza a while back and am having problems with it. My 1st was standard bar an exhaust as far as i was aware so i've not really done much in the way of tuning.

I bought this new one and all seemed well for a good while but then i started to notice the boost going all over the place under hard acceleration. it has a Greddy front mount and some unknown crap boost controller tht the previous owner fitted. my friend has since took the pipework off the boost controller and piped it back into the standard solenoid. it's now back to be smooth as, but is only running 0.4 bar and is quite down on power. i believe it should be 0.9 bar? as the standard solenoid was lying dormant for however long could this be the problem? if anyone has any pictures or info to help with pipework n reduction pill positions it would help too. The car has developed other slight problems, but they seem simple enough, so any help with this would be much appreciated

also! does anyone know of any common problems with steering tht could cause a bit of play at the steering wheel? bushing etc? and what has to be replaced if the wiring on the dccd on top of the g box breaks too close to the solenoid to repair? had the engine out and rebuilt n when they wher puttin the box back in they jammed the wiring so i'm stuck in open sideways mode just now. :P

cheers man just feeks like there's a little point where the steering does nothing. if you turn to the left hard it'll settle in the straight ahead no problem but if you turn right wen you straighten up it still drives straight but the steering wheel is out of line till you steer left again. lol. really confusing
