Default removing stereo
any advice on removing the stereo from my wr1?

yeah, pull the gear stick surround off, undo the 2 screws you can see then carefully unclip fascia arround the stereo, the you can see the screws holding the stereo in

open the cup holder
remove the two screws
remove the cup holder
get fingers in behind the trim and pull
