Default fan bypass switch, possible?

i have a 95 sti and the fans dont kick in when red hot, ive changed the coolant temp sensor, checked the front loom where the fans connect to and connected the green test plugs under he steering column, this goes though a few checks and the fans came on then.
i cant think of anything else to look for so is there a way to trick them to come on or fit a switch in some where?
thanks, phil

hi tony,
the thermostat seems ok as the engine gets hot first then the radiator gets hot, when the temp gets to around 105 110 degrees (which should make the fans come on) the overflow start to leak so i turn it off.

fitting a overide switch is pretty easy, just use the correct rating relay and wire, but as stated above there does appear to be something wrong so fitting a switch should only be considered a temp measure till you get to the bottom of why the fans not kicking in.
