we had problems starting our car took it to subaru and had camshaft sensor changed that problem fixed , but we had to regularly bump start the car and turn the wheel with no power steering by doing this can we have caused our power steering to stop working .???

it is a 94 wrx

 

power steering is belt driven any noise when car is running from power steering pump also check inside the gaiters on track rod ends if they are full of fluid means new rack is needed
