I can't answer that and I think you'll have problems finding anyone who will, firstly I don't think it's that simple and secondly your asking how to remove the OE anti-theft device on a open forum.

It wont fit to start with, your engine is a phase 1.5 to the phase 2 engine used in the MY99/00 cars, your only option is an after market ecu for your model year.
