Can somebody explain to me the difference between a complete 2.5" decat system and a complete decat 3" system? Are the power differences vast?

It depends on how much air needs to flow through the system...... for 400 odd BHP the sheer volume of exhaust gas can't escape quickly enough from a 2.5" system and restricts performance.

I ran 325 BHP on a 2.5" decat system OK
