Default Sump plug torque setting and oil volume 03 Sti?

Hi guys

I had a search and read the lengthy post on removing crank sensors for an oil change and have finally figured out which part is the crank sensor...so i shall be doing that.

Now I'm wondering if anyone knows what volume of oil the 03 Sti UK 2.0 engine is meant to take with a new filter. Also what is the correct torque setting for the sump plug?

Cheers

Simon

The sump plug torque is 44Nm with a new crush washer and IIRC 4.5l of oil.

wow, brave man willing to TORQUE the sump plug !

should be o.k just using normal hand/wrist strength on the ratchet doing it up

strangely,i only ever seem to need 4 litres of oil, even when i change the oil filter,so put 4 litres in and check the dipstick
