Default Boost Solenoid Pipework

I want to replace part of boost solenoid pipework that runs between the boost solenoid itself and the compressor housing / actuator. I don't need to replace the whole thing, just the first long section which runs from the boost solenoid, as the previous owner used it as a point to plumb in a boost gauge.

What diameter is the pipe? Or am I best just sticking with the genuine Subaru hose, should that still be available ?

Car is a MY02 STi Prodrive
