Bonnet wont shut?

Default Bonnet wont shut?

wont lock it keeps popping back up? do i need a new bonnet catch? i ve tryied wd40 but know luch anyhelp would be great cheers guys

either side of the engine bay above the headlight is two rubber mount thingys.. dont know what to call them

you can see them in this pic.



anyway lol just turn them as i know when my brother was playing with them on mine, they raised and stopped the bonnet from closing

Aye, try turning each one turn at a time clockwise. Do both at once, check bonnet shut, etc.

mine does it when the bonnet lever is pulled too far back, i have to open the bonnet and poke a screwdriver about in the middle of the latch and it clicks back into place.
