Default Front O/S strut

Just picked up a WRX wagon 52 bargain today and this would have been perfect in everyway accept i have noticed at some point it has had a front brace (pink paint traces) at some point but removed, this is all well and good but there is only 2 nuts on the studs holding the strut with the other sheared. Anyone know of any 2nd hand front struts going or any other cheap remedy to fix this, i have also heard you can buy the front strut mounts separately but either way i don't need the expense right now. Also are these easy to fit yourself with basic tools?

You can knock the screw out from the top and fit a new one feeding it up from in the wheel arch, I'm sure you can buy the screws from your friendly subaru dealer. It's common for people to shear these off.
