Howdo, got an issue with my MY00 - it's done about 90k miles and money's tight right now so I was looking for a second opinion before splashing out on new bits... New plugs recently, leads look good, no juddering on boost, runs well, but on constant throttle / very light acceleration, it surges slightly about once a second. I'm presuming this is the lamdba sensor doing it's job, anyone else got any thoughts as to what it could be?

Edit, forgot to add, it's had a new MAF less than 3k ago

do you have an aftermarket dump valve fitted?

if so, ditch it and refit the standard recirculating one

Thanks for the reply - the car is absolutely standard. Have wondered about a leaking dump valve though, so i'll take a look into that too. Cheers

check all your hoses first for leaks then i would have thought lamba is the car overfuelling? .I had the same problem on my ra and a new lamba genuine cured the trouble
