Hey folks
I'm gettin a few bits done to my 94 wrx and the mechanic who stripped the top mount and air box and maf had to move the car, surprisingly he started the car and it ran perfect only for a couple of secs to move it 5 feet. But I thought it shouldn't be able to run without maf, or the maf is wanked??

Could it be because the turbo ain't even connected to intercooler etc??
Any help??

 

Should still start without the MAF, had my airbox, MAF etc off last night and started car as I was changing spark plugs, car started ok and had it on for a couple of seconds, it wouldnt run very well for long without it I would think though.

 

Will run without the Maf bud - if the Maf was shagged it would stop running when you plugged it back in! - Dont ever drive your car anywhere without a maf though!!!!!(unless obviously youve had it mapped to run without one!)
