hi all my first post

i have a my98 wagon and i was wondering what the difference is between the uk car and the jap import engine wise are the engines the same just ecu and dumbed down for our low ron fuel

i love my car but i need more power

can i fit the jap ecu, injectors, and turbo i already have a turbo from a 1994 wrx

just asking really any help gratefully recived

Welcome. No, can't simply bung on the Japanese bits and expect it to work. This has been asked a few times before so clicking Search will get you a stack of good info.

Incidentally, has the 1994 WRX turbo been converted to front entry? If not it won't fit your car - and even then you'll need a third party ECU to run it all as the 97-98 ECUs can't be reprogrammed (at time of writing at least).
