Not sure if anyone has come across this before.

Last Sunday drove upto Enfield. When I came to leave I could not open my car with my key fob. I was able to unlock it with the key but the alarm went off.
Typed in my code and started the car no problems.

Changed the battery in my key fob on the Monday and all worked fine that day. Did not use the car for a couple of days. Tried to unlock the car on Thursday and got the same problem. Tried my spare key and that does not work either.

One of the guys at work had a look yesterday. Checked the battery on a meter and all shows fine. Bent the terminals up a little bit to make a better contact with the battery and the key started to work intermittently. Press the fob a couple of times and it would open.

Now it has stopped working again!!!

Typical its Easter weekend and the scooby garrages are closed.

Its a 56 plate WRX wagon. Any ideas would be grateful
