HI all i have recently replaced the engine in my uk 2000 turno my98 with another ( exactly the same) the problem that i am having is that something is stopping the coilpack from firing all the time, occasionly the car starts for about 3-4 secounds then shuts off, other time it turns over and sounds really lumpy when it fires up and then most of the time the car just turns over and over, anyone any ideas what it could be, i think that its something to do with the immobiliser, it does have an aftermarket toad one thats spliced into the main harness of the car but this has not been touched so cant see it beign this, i also have just bought a new coilpack which has been tested and works so thats also illimanted has anyone else experienced this as am now beside myside with what it can be, am not the best with wires and this has me confused and is the only thing stopping me getting my beloved back on the road as it been off 6 months and also my forst impreza so am pretty gutted that am not using it
