Fair bit of work.
The v5 heads are better, but your inlet manifold wont fit, the v5 manifold uses a stepper motor for idle so not compatible with ecu, including pfc.
Are your v4 heads ok?

thanx guys
i didnt really want to take the heads off cos its a complete v6 forged engine, just built and i can only just afford it, so didnt want to mess around plus cost of hg etc etc and then the resale of my engine will be hard aswell.

swapping the manis and a few sensors -no probs but didnt want to split the heads and then have to sell the heads separate to the block.

just have to wait for a block one day - lol

you can get the manifold modified from a v6 to fit the wiring loom and eco uff a v4 perfectly mate, i have got a version 4 car with a version 6 engine now and it runs perfectly

i bought the manifold off a scoobybet member that he used but he got it made mate

you wont need to change the heads or anything but you would defo need a remap and a FMIC! as the v4 manifold wont fit and neither will the v6 TMIC as the modified manifold has too much stuff attached to it

Contact DAZDAVIES here on scoobynet mate, he wont have one for sale but he could probab le get somebody to make you one i presume.
BUT i will repeat, this set up miles better than a version 4 engine mate, even the engine looks sweeter

cheers

amd as a side note you will have to use the coil pack off a v4 not the coil pack on the v6 as its totally different, also you will have to use inlet pipe for turbo from the v4, thats it!

cheers

thanx for that black v3
luckily for me the guy is going to split the engine, so i`m going to get all the bits upto spec on my engine and then when everything is how i want it i`m going to stick the block in
and well done getting all that to work, i havent got the cash to spend doing custom stuff and more imprtantly my car is a daily at the mo.
btw what tubby are you running
