just had new door glass fitted on all the doors by auto glass ,after they were fitted the doors would not open on my fob it opens then closes right after .we took the door cards off and every think looks ok .can some one help .thanks.car is a 94 reg classic.

 

The driver's door lock mechanism contains a switch that activates the central locking system. Sounds like that's where you need to be looking - either the switch itself has become disconnected from the physical lock and is permanently in the "locked" position, or else the wiring loom has either broken or shorted.

 

they run an open/closed circuit for the cdl, it is a white wire that controls it all if it is cut/broken the doors will lock, as splitpin says have a look and the switch in the drivers door, trace the wire through the door loom it may have broken there
