Question Crank Trigger Pattern

Hi all

Could anyone tell me what kind of crank trigger setup the classic Impreza uses? (and whether or not it differs between the models), eg 36-1, 60-2, etc. Also can you confirm that it does use an inductive CPS?

Thanks

I think its a six or seven tooth wheel with weird spacings between teeth. Can't find a diagram now, but you may be able to work it out for the Megasquirt Extra source code - they have a decoder in there - depends how well the code is commented.

Infact here is a photo on ebay -

Will update if I can find spec on degrees between teeth.

PS No Idea on you intentions but there is also a Cam sensor if you want to run sequential injection.

Great, thanks tjmatt. Any further info you could provide would be great - this has given me a good idea on what's necessary. In the meantime i'll go and have a hunt on the MS information.
