Default white smoke

i noticed the other day i had some whiteish smoke coming from exhasust the car has been garaged for 6 months but started and left to run a handfull of times, then last started it the other day after 3 weeks and noticed the smoke would this be due to the car not been taken on a decent run or something more serious, any help would be greatfull

Are you sure you were seeing smoke rather than simply water vapour? It might simply be the results of some condensation in the inlet working its way through - but this should clear after a few minutes. However if you're sure it was smoke, then that's not ideal.

An otherwise good engine shouldn't smoke after being left for a few months. If it did, then that's a sign that oil's found its way into the combustion path somehow. Given that we obviously don't know what you saw and how serious it is, the best advice at the moment is probably to keep a good eye on it and see what happens, and if in doubt, get it looked at.

it wasnt thick smoke i thought it might have been water vapour as there was alot of water dripping from the exhaust
