Default Can someone help?

Hi all,

I have a problem when accelerating, when in 5th on a motorway for example and go to overtake the car revs fine until about 4500 then spikes rapidly until I lift off the throttle, what could the problem be? the car is a MY95 import

Take your car out for a spin, accelerate in 5th from low down the revs, and it should start slipping (ie. revs rising quickly) at 3k.
