How do you expect us to be able to accurately diagnose it via the power of the interwebs when even the current owner appears not to know what's up?

Although if you fancy asking the seller a question you might want to ask whether the car has been mapped for the induction kit. You might also ask how the "mechanics" managed to "change" the HT leads on a car that doesn't have any.

The ironic part of the advert is that the seller is spot-on. If he/she had taken the car to a dealer or specialist at the outset, all this would probably have been a couple of minutes work to diagnose. Makes one wonder whether this was one of the forums the seller asked on.

Not on its own as whatever's causing the problem is clearly more than an ECU brain fart.

In any case, its a moot point as you need a diagnostic computer to reset a newage. If the owner had access to a diagnostic computer, he or she would know what error codes had caused the CEL and thus would likely know exactly what was causing the problem anyway.
