Just had my engine out to do headgaskets, was timing her up with a new belt when i noticed the right hand side exhaust pulley was damaged.

Its missing the corner of 2 teeth, possibly damaged when i was removing the engine. Aint gonna reuse the pulley.

So, does anyone know if the pulleys from any other impreza, turbo or non-turbo, or if any pulleys from legacys will fit?

48 teeth on it, diameter to outer edge of teeth is 119 or 120mm, diameter to outer edge of flange is 126mm

 

What car do you have and what pulley is damaged?

its 1997 WRX 2.0L turbo

Damaged pulley is the drivers side (right side) exhaust pulley. Its a plastic one.

Im kinda living in New Zealand at the minute and want to have her back on the road in a few days lol. Plenty of imprezas and legacys in the scrapyard here, thats why im wondering to any other scoobies have similar cam gears. havn't seen many turbo imprezas in the scrapyards, and if there were any they'd be raped of parts inside 12 hours lol.

 

Early Legacy steel pulleys will fit and a good replacement for the "easy break" resin type pulleys.
