Question Clutch problem

when pressing clutch down it only releases up about 1/2 to 3/4 the way. The clutch is not slipping. Any ideas whats causing it. It was fine then just started doing it one day... its a v4 sti (98). Cheers in advance....

This may sound silly.... but I don't suppose your floormat has slipped forward, thus catching on the pedal?!

This happened to me 3 weeks ago, but due to my pathetic laziness and procrastination, it took 24hrs before the penny dropped!!! ****.

Adjust the pedal to Master cylinder push rod for the correct amount of freeplay. - You'll probably then find that the pedal will return properly.
