Default FITTING GAUGES!

Well gonna fit a oil pressure gauge to the original under the alternater. My question is can i just leave the standard one unpluged after fitting the new gauge?

Can do as long as you know your gauges are accurate might be worth fitting one of the splitters to keep the oe light on the dash just for piece of mind

The best thing to do would be buy one of these kits.

Scoobyparts Ltd OIL PRESSURE & OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE FITTING KIT

It allows you to keep all standard warning lights and have an accurate gauge reading.

Leave it off. The light comes on at such a low pressure that if the car ever REACHES that pressure, the engine is already fekked

Can you afford gauges with an alarm installed? My Defis are set so that the alarm sounds below 2 bar, which is around 29 psi.
