Buying car thats been stored for 6 months
Hi guys,
Im looking at a P1 on Monday that has been stored in a garage last 6 months on a trickle charge. Is there any concerns you would have or things I should look out for?
Would it be wise to have it fully serviced after not being driven for so long?
Cheers

- Seized brakes - esp the handbrake shoes.
- Stuck clutch.
- Perished tyres (if garage suffers damp).
- Recommend oil/filter, fual filter change and drain out old stale fuel and stick in new V-Power before starting, etc, etc...

I work offshore for a minimum of 3 months at a time, this time my trip was 5 months and my car was only turned over a handful of times, so dont let storage of any car put you off.
I store my P1 over the winter, and no issues as I thoroughly warm it and move it a bit every 2 weeks. Better than more miles and salt. But the big thing is not that it is stored but that it has been done thoroughly. Good luck, as they are a fab car!
