Default Porting Headers

Does anyone know who does this?

I have a set that needs doing before fitting as part of my general overhaul of the car. Once these are done they will be fitted and a TSL Sport cat fitted at the same time.

Any help is appreciated especially if they are close to South Wales.

£239 + £12.50 p&p for his OEM ported - and heatwrapped! - ones.

You really need to speak to/PM him your engine/supp. mods spec, and he'll advise on best headers and uppipe (uppipe at additional cost - depending on which one...)

Because, for some specs, a set of ported OEM ones are perfectly adequate and all you'll need. Some tubulars are optimised for high flow and max power - not always needed.

This also means you can save a bundle when compared to 'proper' decent brand/quality tubular ones i.e. not ebay price-driven cheapos (cheap tubulars can crack, whereas OEM ones simply don't).

I had a set of Harvey wrapped & ported headers plus up pipe fitted and my boost curve moved 250rpm lower across the range - giving earlier spool (also made 30 more bhp once mapped).

In answer to kickboxing, you have to understand that it is not a straight choice going for tubular because in many situations you take a step backwards by fitting tubular when ported are actually the best option. I sell both tubular and ported OE and I am always happy to advise on the best option depending on spec and turbo in use.
If you fit the GT Spec tubular along with the uppipe supplied to any Subaru with turbos ranging from TD04 up to 20G or MD321H you are in lag city. There, your best option is ported headers or depending on the spec and actual turbo, possibly tubular at the top end providing you are prepared to spend the extra money on a special uppipe to operate with the tubular.

Can you get tubulars for £240 that perform or don't split apart?

Good tubular that do not split, around £385.
Good uppipe to work with them £149.
Heatwrap the headers before fitting £95.
