Default holding revs

hi all i got a stupid problem with my my02 wrk . the problem is that it seems to hold the revs for a while during ger change and backing of the power to the point that i dont hear the bov go off . it mainly happens once the revs build up . it has a forge motor sport bov fitted . if that helps

it feels like the valve is holding the pressure there as its doesnt go fo all the time due to the revs holding for a while
