i blew up m,y import wrx engine and have now got another on but it was a uk one and the looms dont match up.but i have all the uk loom do i cut the import ones of that dont match and re connect?

 

why not strip the WRX engine of all the ancillaries and use the short motor off the UK engine - bolt all the ancillaries onto the replacement engine and no more problems.? I think that will work

be sure the inlet manifold and all other transferred parts are cleaned thoroughly to avoid any imploded engine bits getting into your replacement engine.
