Default Coolant level!

Hi not long had my 96 turbo 2000, checked the coolant level today and theres zilch in there from what I can see lol. The coolant header tank im guessing is the container thats near the maf...Well thats full. Does this mean that there is coolant in there? and I should just top the coolant tank up?. The car hasent overheated or had any problems, no smoke from the exhaust whem warm.

Advise plz

Not sure where you've checked the coolant level?
If the header tank is full that's good
There is an overflow tube near the battery and that has a bit of coolant in it as well

You probably checked the one by the battery.

If its the bit near the battery next to wing thats just an overflow (expansion bottle) Its ok if its not showing any water. As long as header tank is 3/4 full thats fine.
