Default What diff oil and WRX1994 have a LSD?
1. Is the WRX 1994 has a LSD?
2. The rear diff is making a noise, what oil do I need to change it? Any diff/gearbox oil good?

All Impreza turbos have a rear LSD of some sort.
On a WRX it should be a torsen type, so you do not need an LSD specific oil, but go for a decent 75W90.

Specifically yours has:-

Front - regular non-LSD open diff
Centre - viscous coupling LSD
Rear - another VC

use castrol syntrax driveline 75 90. i have used this in mine for years with no problems as have a lot of others on here

Syntrax is a good choice for Imprezas and on offer with us at the moment. Silkolene Syn 5 is also a good choice.

75w-90 Gear oil
