Default how much for a spray job?

Hi all.
once i sell my scoob.......
i am thinking of buying a project car off ebay for around the £1000 mark
the one i have got my eye on needs a new engine which comes with the sale but also has a tatty body,no serious damage but i would want to do a full respray to get it looking nice.
just wondered how much at a rough estimate,it would cost to do a full respray in jet black?

if i were to strip the car and deliver the shell to a bodyshop?

just after a rough price so i can factor it in to how much i am willing to pay,
thanks

£1.5k to £2.5k, depending on condition of car, and how far you are going in terms of engine bay etc...

Try Daren at ABW, he's down your neck of the woods...

Well I need to remove the old engine and I would imagine strip the interior and take out glass etc?
Then deliver a bare shell to the bodyshop.
I am thinking maybe White would look nicer...
