Default APEX ECU & MODS HELP

Firstly, Hi everyone this is my first time using scoobynet.
I'm needing a little help & advice about my uk 1997 turbo impreza. I've recently got an APEXI ECU + COMMANDER 3 plug formation, this fitted directly into original harnes but will not start, Anyone know why? does it need codeing, ie with key/immobilizor.
Also i little advice on what other engine mods i can do with out going to silly.
I've already done: TD06 TURBO, FRONT INTER COOLER, FORGE RE-CIRC DUMP VALVE, 255 FUEL PUMP, FULL MAGNEX DE-CAT EXHAUST, K&N INDUCTION KIT + ONE PIECE EXHAUST MANIFOLD.

I know i need to get some new injectors but wondering how big to go, i'm thinking 500cc to 600cc

Lastly once i've got all the bits bolted on i'll need someone to set it up correctly, anyone know of someone in south of england area

Cheers guys
Phill

Try turn ignition on, go into Etc menu on Power FC hand controller, select "All data init". Then turn ignition off, then start.

Should start and run ok, if it does let it idle for 5 min, no electrical loads, then 5 min with heated rear screen on, then 5 min with A/C on.

If not and asumming correct Apexi for car and car ran ok before, go into "Sensor sw check", in Etc menu and make sure Power FC can see relevant sensors.

You need to swap the cam and crank wires round and move the fuel pump relay trigger wire to another ecu pin location...

Cam/Crank swap - B136 Pin8 and Pin10

F/P relay - B137 Pin17 to Pin7

A TD06 will need an airflow meter capable of reading a higher airflow than the standard purple label one can support - A 300zx meter is ideal and simple to wire in.

If your car is still running the standard MAF and fuel injectors, then you need to rescale all the maf % corrections to approx 80 and set the fuel injectors to approx 116%, as a starting point.

You need to find someone who know's what they are doing to set it up correctly to your car, with a wideband, det cans and datalogit

Feel free to PM me if you need some help

For mapping in the south of England, Jolly Green Monster (JGM) resides in Kent. But he's a travelling mapper, so not a problem anyway. Just means you won't have to pay so much for his fuel costs, due to your relative close proximity...
