Default block skimming

how much do u skim a block, the mating surface and will a sti 7 crank fit a ej20 center thrust block

The least amount you can get away with to clean up any distorsion/warp on the deck face.
Standard height of each block half is 201mm,and you need to measure them first to see if they have been skimmed in the past.
Subaru say the grinding limit is 0.004" on the block.

The EJ207 crank is a rear thrust design,so not a direct drop in.
