vf30 or vf43 ??

Default vf30 or vf43 ??

what sort of figures would either a vf30 or vf43 produce on a 2.5 wrx and which will make the better road car?

Isn't vf43 a bit better suited for 2.5l engine ? I think it is.
But probably on the other hand you won't notice too much difference as all those vf turbos are rather pretty similar in power/torque figures.

I would go for the VF43 or even better the VF48 which is a slightly better unit off a Hatchback STi, both turbos have fast spool and are equally as good on a 2 litre engine.

I have an overhauled VF48 with mods ready to go on my S202 and I am hoping to see around 385bhp.

Mapped 2.5 wrxs with both the VF43 and the VF30 and they are very similar in performance. Both run in at around 340-350 bhp with high 300's torque.

Depends on what you can get hold of - you will not be disappointed with either.
