2001 engine 95 gearbox will it fit?

Default 2001 engine 95 gearbox will it fit?

hi, just a quick one, i have a 2001 engine and was wondering if a 95 gearbox will line up, thanks, phil.

yes it will, although the classic box only use 4 fixing points it will be fine.

ah i see, there are more holes on the engine but the 4 needed all line up, thanks very much, what about starter motor and flywheel, 2001 or 95 or are they all the same? and does it line up ok?

Yeah, when you offer a a post 98 'TY754...' bellhousing up to the engine, 4 of the housing's 8 bolt holes will line up (it'll be obvious), and the remaining 4 will be redundant.

all makes sense, thanks, what to do about the starter and fly wheel though, will it be the 95 or 2001 or are they the same?

That's a good question. Does the starter and/or flywheel 'stay' with the engine, or the gearbox housing..................????
