Default quiet 3" exhaust for a classic recomendations ?.

Hi, I currently have a 3" hks system, and just too loud for me. Rather than replace complete system I would ideally like to replace just the rear box, with a much quieter rear 3" box. Any recomendations. ?.

I would literally like as quiet as possible and if possible close to stock prodrive type noise ?. But need it to be free flowing.

REvolution seem to get great reviews, but the use a slip joint type system, so would mea changing the complete system and possibly the downpipe as well.

I even contemplated putting a 2.5" bore back box I have spare onto my 3" sytem, but notice the bolt centres on the flange are further apart so unfortunately not an option.

Thx

Can't recall off hand which one, but its not a silent, its a TI something or other from memory. But find it loud... the silencer in the box isn't much larger than the pipe diameter.

Miltek do seem to get good reviews, but also seem to demand a fair price premium, but will have a look to see if they do a 3" box for a classic and find out price. Cheers

Thanks for all the info and help. Done a deal on a Revolution 3" with JGM. - Should be just the ticket in terms of what I'm looking for.

revolution system is well regarded i've had them on both my classics pretty subtle but deep tone and provided good gains or miltek had one on my cupra r and again was very subtle but nice sounding, very good quality
miltek was a bit pricey though by comparison

cheers
