Default side lights playing tricks

been doing some work on my friends 95 jdm wrx auto(shes a bird)
for some reason when the lights are off and you press the brake pedal the front sidelights come on...
anyone ever come across this before as it has baffled me

yep probably a short across one off the rear stop/tail bulbs or the holder in that area


What work have you done on it

check u have the correct bulbs fitted in the brake/rear side lights.if u have a single bulb in wen it should be a double it will put the current to a different place.

What work have you done on it
sorting out all the crap halfords goodies that have been fitted(turbo timer etc...),service,front brakes,stereo,up-pipe,rear spoiler.
