Depends how bad the scratch is Pat,
people like chips away will get rid of minor ones, but if its down to the black plastic then a respray of that area is a better idea, had this done on my car when some g1t in a car park did it to my front bumper, cost 75 quid to sort and looks like new (cant tell its been done
