I would like to know if the engine can be turned over by disconnecting the coil pack connecter so that turbo can be primed, instead of disconnecting the crank sensor?

Bad idea. You'll prevent the engine starting, yes, but you'll also flood the cylinders with fuel.

Disconnecting the crank position sensor stops spark and injection.

It is also quicker and easier to disconnect one plug ie the crank sensor.
If you want to make it a big job you could always remove the plugs. The starter can then turn at relatively high revs as there is no compression obviously.
Use a battery pack and you will probably get close to full oil pressure on a cold engine anyway.

 

Cheers Harvey. The car has been parked up for long now. I was thinking about using a syring to feed oil down the oil feed line and spinning the blade at the same time to prime it. Not sure if thats a good idea.

 

You can prime the feed line but still turn the engine on the battery for some time after you have full pressure. Do it two or three times but don't kill the starter. You may need auxilliary power pack.

 

Perfect. I have also ordered a coupler & a alloy hard pipe to modify the intake pipe. I will forward you pics once its done.
