Default CEL light on

Hi there, I own a 95 impreza wrx ra and it was sat on my drive for a week doing nothing (as i have another car now) and when i took it out for a quick spin the CEL light came on. Its coming up with fault code 22 which i believe is the knock sensor. The light only comes on at idle and as soon as i rev it it goes out again. Ive owned the car for over 2 years now and never had the CEL light come on. Could this be something to do with not driving the car for a week? The car seems to be running ok. Thanks for any opinions.

yes its the knock sensor. take the sensor off and have a look for any visible cracks as this can cause the sensor to trigger. if its the original sensor its done well for the last 14-15 years and its just a coincidence that its only just happened after being parked up. mine went after fitting a new intercooler hose
