BIG THANKS to Duncan from Dynamix
Just a short note to air my thanks to Duncan from Dynamix who came and re-mapped my recently upgraded car this afternoon. From a disappointing, lumpy running, yawn...nothingness, he transformed it into a necksnapping, tyre screeching monster
So, thank you for your hard work and not complaining even when the FMIC pipes blew off, (more than once)
I would recommend him to everyone, (his performance in the Time Attack series speaks for itself). All the best,
Mike
ps. The car will soon be up for sale, (just getting some new brakes sorted).

DAN83590 I'm off to Japan to bring a 02/03 Sti C type for myself and a classic R to sell on hence this one is for sale. Mind you, after the job Duncan did it's miles better than expected. Spec is TD05, Walbro 550 pink injectors, H&S decat downpip, Blitz Nurspec R, Brand new Front Mount Intercooler. I'm fitting new upgraded discs and EBC yellowstuff pads before its sold. If you want any pics then send me your e-mail address. Price for a quick sale would be £4,500

I bought a trantrix cable and was going to have a go at mapping the car myself...BUT... it would take an awful long time to work out all the correct parameters etc. What Duncan did was an art and has obviously taken a long time to perfect. It really is a different car now.

Does hairspray really hold the FMIC hard pipes in the silicone joiner hoses.... indefinitely?!
Surely they'll force out soon again after - no?
If not, then I best raid my sister's bedroom before getting my next round of mods (inc FMIC) fitted!... LOL

Apparently so, when the spray is wet you can slide the pipe over the silicone pipe, then after its tightened up it goes glue like and holds the joints together. You can also spray it on shoes to form a shiny waterproof coating. If neither of the former appeal then just sniff it
Two out of three isn't bad.

Yeah I can see the logic etc. - just hoping that in practice it actually works. Which it evidently does!
Which is best? Sivikrin? Harmony?
I bet I know what IS best... That L'Oreal Studio Line Fixing Spritz! It's bloody industrial strength-mental that stuff!

Seriously - you 'could' undo the hose clamps on my pipework now and still not pull the pipes out - take a fair amount of force to separate and hoses blowing off is a thing of the past.
Murray corp constant tension clamps help too just to be safe
and thanks for the kind words guys - it means a heck of a lot

Yeah, MCT clips are the jonnies - as used by WRC teams. But a full set for my IC kit would pretty much total a £ton - suddenly mincing about with some hairspray under the bonnet is now a no-brainer LOL...
