Major problem the most pointless switch in the cars stopped working.. yes youve guessed it the BRIGHT switch, its pointless so the least it can do if its there is work,, it doesnt, now could be the light behind the clock? either way how do i check or change, are these dashs easy to remove ?>?
the clock doesnt illuminate at all, but i can just see the figures..

If the clock doesn't illuminate at all, overwhelmingly likeliest suspect is the bulb behind it. Instrument pack isn't at all difficult to get out - two screws and a bit of pulling to remove the outer cowl, three screws (and some swearing) to manoeuvre the instrument pack out over the steering column.
