Default adjusting boost WG actuator and header differances.

hi i have a new TD05h-20g and the bost is running at 9psi max the acuator is rated up to 1 bar and my previous setup it for 1bar. can some one tell me how to adujust the acuator to one bar. i take it shorten the bar but would i have to take the c-clip off first or just go ahead and shorten it but the bolt ?

also im looking at investing in some new shiny headers "manifold" can some one tell me what the differance is between un-equal and equal please thanks

No idea on the actuator mate.

The header differences as far as I know are, equal = slight power gain through better exhaust efficiency but as the gasses are exiting at the same time you sacrifice the burble we all love.

N.B Answer provided by total newbie and as such any flaming directed at me for incorrect answers will fall on deaf ears.

To shorten the actuator, you will need to slacken off the bolt, then carefully prise off the circlip, then turn the actuator arm 1 half turn inwards, then place arm back on wastegate, tighten up bolt and put the circlip back on. Take the car for a drive and see what your gauge says. You can repeat this operation each time ,but just turning the arm 1 half turn, and noting how many times you have turned the arm incase you need to take it back to its original setting.
You might also be better off getting someone to have a look at it regarding boosting ,as adjusting the wastegate is not ideal solution for fixing boost problems.

Surely the boost control solenoid is doing this, and you need a re-map/chip....
